Welcome to the homepage of Abingdon Music Centre. Abingdon Music Centre was established 40 years ago to give the people of Abingdon opportunities to make music, whatever their age or experience. At present we run a range of music groups for babies and pre-schoolers, school-age children and adults as well as outreach work in the town. We also host activities on behalf of other groups. We are a small but growing charity and we are always interested to gather views and ideas from people who would like to make music.

LATEST NEWS

  • We are delighted to announce that 25 students at Larkmead School have successfully achieved their Bronze Arts Award qualifications, through working with us as part of our Youth Music project. Many congratulations to them all.
  • Our youngest members have enjoyed taking part in our new All Together Now free monthly sessions with their parents and residents of Bridge House care home. Children and adults alike have enjoyed singing, playing instruments and using a range of props together. For more details please contact the AMC office.
